wow, I have been waiting to get an HD tv for a while, until the price went down.  I may just have to pick one of these up, 699 is a GREAT price, I hope everyone gets one of these, I know I'll be saving tons of money!

Is it me, or do HDTV's keep getting cheaper and cheaper?

I think getting a high Definition LCD TV for $699 is a good though it is a refurbished one. But we need to be a bit carefual regarding warranty and servicing issues.

I would love to go for this one but a bit hesitant since it is a refurbished one. Not sure about the service they rpovide. but after reading about the TV in the posts above, i think its better to make up mymind to go for one.

 I don't have a problem with refurbs, especially when it saves a good deal of money. I would take this quality TV at this price instead of spending twice as much for a better system.

I think buying a refurbished LCD TV for $699 is not at all bad idea. Atleast you are getting something good in it.
