I am sure you work for Enterprise since you are anonymous. I would like to point out that TWICE at two different locations, I have paid cash for the rental, yet was still charged on my credit card which is now mandatory for each rental (previously in my college days, i was able to rent a car with a cash deposit and of course, pay for the rental in cash.)
Effectively I was double billed and each visit to the individual locations (there were several successive visits after I received my credit card bill) the first location was able to credit my card... however the more recent rental, the location did NOT refund the overpayment and and refused to go through their books and verify the overpayment. I am led to believe someone, if not all, the employees took my money and effectively STOLE it.
BE SURE YOU HAVE THE EMPLOYEE SIGN HIS/HER NAME TO THE INVOICE SHOWING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE CASH PAYMENT in any case. and I will NOT do business with Enterprise again.
