Full dollar tax credits took effect on Jan.1, 2006. The vehicle must be placed in service after 12/31/05 and purchased on or before 12/31/10. Credits could be from $250 to $3,000.

Thats a very wonderful piece of information. I guess atleast this news should boost up the sales of Hybrid Cars and we should see more off them on roads. Also this would help the manufaturers to reduce the prices so that everybody can afford one. This would really help in preventing harmful gases being emitted to a very good extent.
