Mirel is made from corn sugar. It is fully biodegradable. It is a durable alternative to petroleum based plastics. Mirel will biodegrade in all enviroments. Metabolix Inc. joined with Archer Daniel Midland Co. to commercially  market Mirel plastics, under the name Telles. They are expected to begin producing by late 2008.

This is really a very very good news. I think we all should should join hands and support the use of Mirel. It is really a miracle plastic which is bio-degradable. This will contribute a lot to prevent environmental pollution and save our Mother Earth who has given us all that we need. Now its our turn to give back.
