I found that Office Depot is offering $50 off of the Western Digital 1TB My Book external firewire hard drive, bringing the price down to $350. On top of that, there's also a $70 mail-in rebate that brings the final cost down to $280. A year ago, I bought my own firewire enclosure and two internal 250GB hard drives to create my own 0.5TB external drive and I ended up spending about $320. This is an incredible deal for a whopping 1TB of storage.

That's a great deal, but I don't know what I'd need 1TBytes of storage for.

I really don't need 1Tb of storage, but I'm probably going to buy this just because the price is too good to pass up.

Thanks. This is definetly a good and cheap deal, only problem is what on earth would i use 1TB for. And at this price wouldnt the risk of all your work being lost in a hd failure be higher since you are keeping all your stuff in one place. Maybe ill get it just to say i got a TB at home :).

Hey that is an incredible deal. But what will a home pc user do with 1TB of hard disk space. may be it is useful for office people who use a lot of softwares. But still its the best one I have ever found on net.

I must say thats an amazing deal. But what will i do with such a huge storage space. May be I can open a digital mixing studio with such a huge memory space for my PC.... Good deal indeed......
